Golden Star Properties recently signed a long-term lease agreement with Stater N.V. for the Podium Office Complex (“Podium Offices”), where Stater has been a tenant since 2008. The agreement covers approximately 12,500 m² of office space and 500 parking spaces. Podium Offices, located in Amersfoort Vathorst, is designed for multi-tenant use and features sustainable elements such as a Heat-Cold Energy Storage system and an A++ Energy Label.

Stater was represented in this transaction by JLL / Jan-Willem in ’t Hout and Bas van Baalen (currently employed at Edge). Golden Star Properties received legal advice from SBL Legal / Jaap Vreugdenhil and commercial guidance from Tree Real Estate / Erik Troost.

About Podium Offices

The Podium Office Complex is one of the last large-scale new office developments in Amersfoort, completed and taken into use around 2007/2008. The complex is strategically located in Amersfoort Vathorst, near the A1 and A28 motorways and Vathorst train station, which offers direct connections to Amersfoort Central, Utrecht, and Amsterdam. The timeless design is by architecture firm Ibelings van Tilburg and is well-suited for multi-tenant use.

In addition to the Podium 1 Complex, the adjacent building Podium 7 – the Europarcs building – is also part of the Office Campus, located in the mixed urban district of Vathorst. The complex is surrounded by spacious outdoor terraces, a specially designed rooftop garden on the parking structure, and is bordered by a pond and water feature. An expansion at Podium Offices through a roughly 5,500 m² CLT office pavilion on the existing plot is currently under further investigation.

Tree Real Estate continues further optimisation of the Property on behalf of its Long term relation GSP and is currently working on the entrance of a second, investment grade quality tenant into Podium Offices.
