Tree Real Estate assists HousingAnywhere with renting office space in Rotterdam Building

Tree Real Estate B.V. has successfully assisted HousingAnywhere B.V. in entering into a lease agreement for approximately 1,471 m2 of office space on the 8th floor of the Rotterdam Building at Aert van Nesstraat 45 in Rotterdam. In addition to the office space, the agreement also includes the rental of parking spaces in the building's parking garage.

The iconic Rotterdam Building, located between the Lijnbaan and Coolsingel, has undergone a major renovation under the direction of the American agency Gensler. This architectural masterpiece by renowned architect Kraaijvanger has been a landmark in the Rotterdam Central Business District for decades and has now been fully future-proofed to attract and retain talent.

With this transaction, TREE Real Estate B.V. has found a representative and forward-looking office environment for its client HousingAnywhere that matches the company's ambitions. HousingAnywhere is an online rental platform that helps people find housing, with a focus on medium to long-term rentals for international students, expats, and young professionals. The platform brings tenants into direct contact with landlords, with searches, messages, booking and payments entirely online.

The lease was made in collegial cooperation with De Mik Real Estate Partners B.V. and JLL, who acted on behalf of owner Ballast Nedam Development.
